CommVault Simpana 8.0 Upgrades Available for Existing Customers

Contact EAGLE regarding CommVault's new Simpana® 8 Upgrade. Upgrade Kits are now available to customers who have active Technical Support and Maintenance contracts. With Simpana 8, CommVault has enhanced the product by adding a module for deduplication and more.

Deduplication is an integrated feature of Simpana 8, reducing data consumption across the infrastructure from disk through all tiers of storage. This approach dramatically lowers costs by leveraging existing secondary storage devices, eliminating special-purpose appliances, requiring less data being written to tape and providing centralized managment. In addition to the data deduplication module, CommVault has also added modules for universal virtualization (backup/recovery and archiving), laptop/desktop protection, snapshot backup for Microsoft Exchange, eDiscovery and Compliance.

Contact your EAGLE Sales Representative if your support has lapsed and you would like to reinstate support and upgrade to Simpana 8. ComVault has special limited time offer to reinstate lapsed support contracts.
